Happy Thanksgiving!! I have a lot of walking to do this week!!!
As of the 18th - 59.81 with 4/10 - goal of 115 (or was it 120) and 10 over 5.
19 - 2.01
20 - 4.36
21 - 1.93 (I did something to my foot on the 20th - we got home and I could barely walk on it. Was easy on Sat and stayed around the house cleaning/doing laundry.)
22 - 2.88
Total = 70.99 miles and still 4/10. To reach my over 5 goal, need to hit 6 of the next 8 days.0 -

Thanks Magic! I had it (ankle actually) reconstructed in 2011 and from time to time, it acts crazy. We went to colder temps, so I'm wondering if that's not what it was. We also went to an event on a college campus and I was in shoes that I used to wear in the ER - great for walking flat surfaces, but a little shaky when walking across grass. Probably a combo. It's definitely feeling better - not hurting any worse than normal.

Planning on going back to Zumba again this week! I'm ashamed to say that there are muscles that are still sore from last week!!! Guess that's a testament to what a great workout it is.
I get to work all week...oh the joys of healthcare! It's a trade off, though...I've worked the last 2 Christmases, so in exchange for working Thurs, I have Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day off.This will be the first time in years (at least 5) that I get to travel to see my family on the actual Christmas holiday, and not the weekend before/after.

My goal for November is 120 miles - 15 over 10,000 steps - get back on mini trampoline or use my walking DVD's.
Week 1- 24.2 miles (1/15 over 10,000)
Week 2 - 27.7 miles (2/15 over 10,000)
Week 3 - 25.1 miles (3/15 over 10,000)
Total - 77 miles ....catching up to last month
Nov 22 - 6.0 miles - 13204 steps (4/15) ........a lot of steps around the hospital up and down the stairs. Power outages in the hospital while they did the renovations to the power system. Most of the elevators were out of service.
Nov 23 - 3.7 miles
Home to restock my suitcase while my DSIL stays with mom. Surgery went good. Now the recovery process...0 -

Zumba is off for tonight. We are going to be at the spare house, showing it to an appraiser, and hopefully getting an offer to get it off our hands!! Will pace as much as I can while they are doing their looking.
Good for you on the steps, @Lilymay2, but I'm sorry that it has to be at the hospital!! Hoping for a speedy recovery.0 -

Working all week, especially with the a family thing yesterday - basically from the time I got off of work until bedtime, has not made this the best week. I'm looking forward to the next 7 hours being over!!! TGIF, for sure! This whole day went to crap as soon as I walked in the door at work. LOL...that's most days, but even more so today. *If anyone on here has the secret to becoming independently wealthy and not having to work [other than doing something you enjoy (playing with puppies, maybe) and still getting the bills paid] please share!!*
So here's the update for the last couple of days. I've put myself behind again.
25 - 2.08 (I didn't get to pace much with the home inspectors)
26 - 2.32 (and too much good food shoveled in the mouth - and that statement made me realize I forgot to bring the plate of food that I made for lunch today. Boo.)
Total = 85.4, 6/10 (4 days left and about 30 miles to go...and all days have to be over 5. I don't see it happening. We are traveling to visit with my family tomorrow, so that will be about 8 total hours in the car. Maybe we can get a couple mile walk in at their house to loosen up between car rides!!! And it looks like today after work will be spent walking!! Maybe it will be a slow day here and I can get up more. )0 -

I know what you mean about work ...that's the only thing I know that does pay the bills. All the driving, mlh, played havoc with your numbers.

Finally home.... mom is settled into Acute care in the nearby health center. Her broken should is in a sling and will need to heal before she will be able to stand and learn to walk again with her walker. It will be a long haul for her and she will go from acute care to long term care.
The weather is very nice here. -1 C today is the forecast and sunI will be out there getting a walk in for sure.

This weekend was not what I wanted it to be with regard to mileage. And yesterday, my fitbit died when I was trying to be good. Before, actually. Went to the humane society and got more puppy time. There weren't many volunteers there, so we took a couple of different dogs out for long walks. One of them made us walk more b/c when we tried to head back down the path to the building, she laid down. When a 75 lb dog says they aren't going, they aren't going. LOL

Total = 91, 6/10 I'm going to venture to say that I'm not even going to make 100 this month.
A new month begins tomorrow and we are going to start our 1/2 marathon training tomorrow.The plan has us doing timed walks on Tues and Thurs, stretching on M, W, Rest Friday, then mileage walks on Saturday. Sundays are leisurely walks. Sounds like the perfect reason to go and walk dogs for the humane association. Wish it was a little closer to my house, though.
