Help! Ravenous.
My work canteen had a boiled egg, 2 mushrooms with brie cheese and lettuce as my only lunch options. Rest had sauces or high carbs. My husband snuck in and ate my prawns here at home. I ate my emergency snack maccadamias and the almonds. Dinner time. Any thought for now or future meal solutions? Even no sugar cake. Hungry!!

Willing to shop! From ready steady cook perspective, I do have almond milk, almond meal and a desire to make something tasty.. I also have nori, chia seeds, flax seeds, kale, arugula, avocado and tuna. Many oil choices including coconut.

I cant eat fruit (too much sugar), not really meant to eat hard cheese nor beans nor bacon nor ham, definitely no startchy carbs, ie no root veg and I have already eaten one egg (Doc's daily limit). Willing to adjust recipes or scan sites if there is something i can modify :) many thanks!

You could mash up the avocado and tuna and wrap in nori?

    Great thinking. Will do.

Just noticed almond milk is really too high in sugar but I had that with a protein powder to try and think clearly again, before I noticed (new in house to replace milk and dodge lactose). Week 5 completed with low carbs and v low sugar. Think I may go bust on that low carb ideal today with too many nut choices to fill in the lack of lunch choices. Time to DIY! Lunch. Back on track now.

Any good websites? Looks like I may be eating this way for at least 6 months and I dont want to get bored.

Have you tried A2 Milk? Might want to consider and/or try that. Also, there is an absolute ton of LCHF recipe website links listed in the launchpad / sticky note area at the top of this group so please check there! Lots of free wonderfully delicious recipes. Been following this WOE for 15 months now, have tried SOOO many good recipes (with still SOOO many more to try) and I haven't gotten bored yet!! lol

Whip up some heavy cream. Add cocoa powder and stevia. Boom! Life changing

See if you can find unsweetened almond milk. The stuff I buy is 13cals per 100ml, and 0.1g of carbs (sugar)... or you can make your own if you have a blender/food processor.

Just wondering if there is a medical reason for the limit on eggs. Unless you've a specific medical condition, common medical advice about limiting eggs for cholesterol reasons has been proven bogus. Just FYI.
