A Plan for Holiday Survival?

I am so excited to be cooking our first Thanksgiving meal in this house! But I also want to stay on plan and be healthy! There are only the two of us (ok, there are the animals!) so hopefully this plan will work for us. I bought a roaster chicken for me and the dogs (I hate the term "people food" It was coined by dog food companies to foster a belief that dogs do not deserve fresh, healthy food and should be consigned to commercial dog products) and a spiral ham for my husband. I am roasting a sweet potato for me and mashed potatoes for him and skipping the dressing. I am making steamed green beans and brussel sprouts with balsamic vinegar. I am making cornbread - but a small pan of my mfp recipe. And yesterday I went to Publix and bought two pieces of cheesecake so we can have dessert without any leftovers. I already have my fitbit on and will get my 5k of steps. (the dogs will have roast chicken, kale, sweet potato, black beans, and pumpkin)

What are others doing for their plan?
