Strategies for Thanksgiving?

Anyone prethought out how they are going to handle the food and family today? My thought is fast for breakfast, small salad for lunch and then eat what I like at dinner (within reason). I'm not going to stress about that small piece of pie or glass of wine.

Your strategies?

Eat my regular large breakfast, small lunch of salad and protein, and fill up with Turkey and the vegetables I made (turnips eggplant and parsnips.) I will probably also indulged in a small piece of the gluten free cheesecake a friend is making. Everyone enjoy and don't stress out about it.

I worked today but we cook there. I had a half a portion of crustless sweet potato pie, turkey, mashed potatoes and homemade cranberry sauce. I didn't have any vegetables with dinner as it was corn. I had a salad for lunch before hand and no breakfast. Not perfectly Paleo, but not horrible either. I will be making a family meal at some point so I will think about what/how to make it reasonable.

I know this is a little late but I wanted to share what I made. Of course we had turkey and baked sweet potatoes. I made cooked carrots and steamed broccoli. I also made some Paleo dinner rolls from a Pinterest recipe and Paleo gravy. I topped that off with a Paleo pumpkin pie I baked that was amazing!!! I have been following Paleo for almost 10 months but this was first really big holiday that I cooked and had 12 people. I did made traditional mashed potatoes and rolls and gluten free pecan pie for my kids. Anyway everything tasted great it was a huge success! I'm actually looking forward to cooking for Christmas!! I hope you all enjoyed your holiday!!
