Been away for a while, it's been quite a year. In the last year every time I've thought I was getting ahead, I allowed something else to set me back. Now it's Thanksgiving, then Christmas, and more excuses. Not quite at my all time high, but slowly getting closer. I am exercising, fairly regularly although I've hit a few periods where I backed off for a month or so. It's the food that is my main downfall, namely, sugar. Alcohol has had it's roll in it as well, but we've cut back recently and hope to keep it at a minimum. I'm not going to sweat the holidays, I am a realist, but plan to not go crazy with it. First of the year we, husband, 21 year old son living at home, and I, will get back to a better eating plan. Signed up to maintain or lose weight at the Y from Thanksgiving until the first of the year, maybe that will help for now.

you sound dedicated and devoted, you can do it, we all get off track, I lost my dad, then my mom then my mother in law all bang, right after another, pulled my mom out of the hospital, watched her die of cancer, had a son move out, just one thing after another, I drank quite a bit, but the only thing that kept my sanity was good cardio every day.I am still not at all what I used to be,, but I am not giving up!, KEEP AT IT!
