    Goal for December - 120 miles & 10 over 10,000 steps

    Dec 1 - 1.8 miles
    Dec 2 - 2.9 miles
    Dec 3 - 2.1 miles
    Dec 4 - 5.2 miles - 11498 steps (1/10)

    Happy walking everyone. The weather here in Saskatchewan is beautiful for this time year. We should be blanketed in at least a foot of snow by now .... but nope, no significant snow yet. In fact it is above zero Celsius yet!!

    28/100 I went to YouTube and thought I would do 2 miles of any walk and be done since my grandson spent the night. I turned on the movie The Polar Express for him and started walking. I did the 2 Mile Burn Fat and Back It Down(previously called 2 Mile Walk This Way), then I moved on to the 1 Mile Happy walk and well he was caught up with the movie so I just kept going. I then did the 1 Mile Express and finished with 1 Mile Walk In Home. I am done for the day and the movie is ending.....I am going to do this while he is on Christmas break so I can get my walking done.

    Hello all! I am a newcomer and my goal is to walk 100 miles this month which includes the Leslie Sansone videos and my Pacer Pedometer tracker. I am a nursing assistant during the day so I like to track my steps. Daily goal: 2 miles with Leslie; 10,000 steps at work which should be about 4-5 miles for me. Good luck to all and happy walking

    Woo Hoo!!!! My marathon shop yesterday and my 3 mile Leslie walk has me back on goal!!! We all need to go shopping for a day at an outdoor outlet mall!!! My goodness there is a lot of walking when you shop at one of those. Thankfully, it was not freezing in MI yesterday! :relaxed: I wonder why Leslie has not made marathon shopping part of her December Walk Plan! :laugh:

    LOL! about the marathon shopping as part of the Dec walk plan. Great idea Brenda. She could also have people carry 2 or3 lb weights in their purses. And we can all do side steps while in line at the cash registers. (Tipping my hat to PinkyPan here and all the rest of us who give ourselves away as Leslie-ites.

    I don't think you need to add any more weight to a purse they are pretty much heavy enough to be considered weapons. LOL ;)

    Total - week 1 = 23 miles & 2 over 10,000.

    Finally a bit of snow to make everything look clean. I should still be able to walk in my shoes though, and it is really nice weather wise. Now just to get out there!!

    Our family 's annual Christmas tree hunt is this weekend, so 29 people and 5 little kids under the age of 4 in my house .... no only 9 of them are staying overnight!! And my little granddaughter is one of them... she is pretty excited about coming to Grandma's house!! Me too!! I have a bit of control over the food.... I am cooking a turkey and supplying the vegetables and the fruit. There are a couple of salads coming and only 1 desert!! I better get in a couple more walks before the weekend!!

    Went for a short walk with my dog, then picked up the grandkids. Lots of steps chasing Aiden around and more steps walking Zoey to sleep. Then headed off to curling.... slippery steps ..ha ha!!

    With all the online grading I have been doing lately, my mouse batteries died and wouldn't you know it, there wasn't an AA battery in this house!!! I was going to drive to the drug store, but I'm heading to Netherlands for Christmas in a couple of weeks, so I thought, why not start training early and WALKED to the drug store!!!! In all honesty, it took me 45 minutes to walk there, shop and walk home. I walk more than that with Leslie and take more time and yet when it comes to walking to shop or eat out or even go to the Post Office in my case, I get in that stupid truck and drive instead! Sheer laziness!!! I am going to work on that! :laugh:
