Keto and estrogen

Hi,just curious if keto lowers or raises estrogen levels (in females). I've read both on the Internet and kind of confused. I eat a lot of cheese (not fully keto yet, but working my way towards) and I've always heard cheese is high estrogen too. Thanks for any answers!

    Hi,
It's not usually estrogen that's the problem but estrogen dominance. Your estrogen levels should be at an optimal level that are neither too high nor too low. It has been my experience that Keto proves to do that. I would recommend getting a progesterone supplement because you want your progesterone and estrogen to be balanced. Estrogen dominance simply means that your estrogen is too high in relation to your progesterone. When that happens you get emotional and set the stage 4 cancer and lethargy etc. You can use cream or pill. Pill is usually prescribed by an HRT specialist, but transmucosal application of a cream is the best. Dr. Mercola has a write up about this if you google it. Hope that helps. It works for me!
