Great goal! Reducing stress and putting things in proper perspective has made a big difference for me this year in so many ways.

Forgot to post yesterday. This challenge is going well for me so far. Last week's goals:

    (1) start logging again -- DONE, didn't start until Wednesday and skipped Thanksgiving dinner, but otherwise logged consistently and it's feeling routine again

    (2) get back to eating only at meals (desserts can be included as part of a meal, as appropriate, if logged, of course) -- DONE, 7/7

    (3) really focus on sleeping an adequate amount -- I was spotty about this, but still a major improvement from the past several weeks

    (4) work on positive stress management -- did this

    (5) get all my workouts in! -- DONE, moved some things around, but in particular got in 5/5 planned runs and 35 miles

    (6) have fun running my after Thanksgiving half marathon on Saturday (I'm kind of out of shape, so will treat it as another fun run and not push for a PR) -- did this, 2:15, so not close to my PR, but I'm happy with it and will work to improve for the one at the end of Dec

    _____________________________

This week's goals: it's going well, so I'm just going to repeat 1-5 and try to improve a bit more on the sleep in particular.

How's everyone doing on this week's goals? I've done really well so far on the logging, food choice/calories, and exercise, and only so-so on the sleep. The weekend will be the most challenging time for me on the food and calories, though, so hoping to stay focused.

I am having a rough week with stress My daughter keeps bringing it to me by the bucket and then there is always work. :s
then my old boss dropped off 10 dozen cut out cookies for my husband and i. :'(
So far I haven't touched a cookie but this is very hard as I'm over tired so I could easily pig out and go into a sugar stupor. I'm exercising everyday but depending on my shifts at work depends on my workout. I just can't wait for this month to be over.

    Results:

    (1) logging consistently -- did this 7/7, and was under calories for the week, I believe (hard to tell since the weekend had lots of impossible to log accurately meals)

    (2) get back to eating only at meals (desserts can be included as part of a meal, as appropriate, if logged, of course) -- DONE, 7/7

    (3) really focus on sleeping an adequate amount -- really poor on 4/7, just okay on 3/7 -- overall an important thing to keep working on

    (4) work on positive stress management -- okay, could use work

    (5) get all my workouts in! -- DONE, 7/7 for key workouts, didn't do all my optional stuff, but added some unplanned things so it evened out
