This group is great, thank you for starting!
After years of symptoms and a diagnosis of IBS, I have discovered that I have an intolerance to wheat and cows milk. Can't say I'm thrilled to wave some of my favourite treats goodbye but hugely relieved to find the root of the cause instead of just living with IBS which is what the doctor proposed.
I am on day eight of my new gluten and dairy free life and must admit, I haven't seen any signs of improvement. I was wondering how long it has taken people to feel the benefits of going wheat and dairy free? I've been very strict and been drinking detox smoothies daily but still feel fatigued, headaches, irritable, foggy mind. I was hoping to have a spring in my step but sadly just feel like I want to spring into bed!!
