Marla - I mentioned this in my status but not here...this was the first time I e run with my hubby in probably a couple of years. I usually run alone. As an introvert, the only appeal running has for me is as an escape. Hubby wanted to come with, so I figured I can survive one run with him along. I did but won't do it again anytime soon! Hope you enjoy the sun!
Sherry - Glad you've been productive! I'm hoping you can find out what's wrong! Any luck on finding a doctor to see to have it checked out?
Got quite a bit done yesterday as far as church stuff and getting Christmas cards ready. Was supposed to run 8 miles this morning, but swapped it with a different run. Basically, have a very busy day full of running errands and prepping Christmas stuff for teachers and things. Also have to leave early this morning to drop hubby's car off to get upholstery fixed. Tomorrow and Friday are much less strenuous so I'll do my 8 mile run then. This morning is just 6 miles. Then I have a bunch of errands to run, presents to pack, and then a Christmas party tonight. Another one tomorrow too. Busy, busy, busy!
Have a great week!0 -
Sheri...major bummer on legs, hope you figure it out soon. Have they done blood work and xrays?
Val, keep on with the busy...
I went onlong walk on trail to ocean then on ocean yesterday in the lovely sun. Today i got up early to meet my new hiking group i joined from meetup and we walked 5 miles around paths at the marsh. Couple of birders in the group we stopped often for bird watching...lol. I like birds but not that much!
Found out from this one guy though i can take classes for no grade in continuing education at the university here, he teaches a creative writing class.
I am being tempted by christmas cookies lately.
I think i just need to hold it as good as i can...january will be here soon!0 -
And once again somehow days have gone by since I've been here. Just did a quick scan to see what I missed.
The vertigo continues to come & go. I've found that I need to stay on top of the Rx - once I start getting the dizzy spells it's really hard to get over them again. I've noticed that driving makes it worse. Monday morning I didn't take a pill right away because I felt okay. I even got up early and fit in a 3 mile run before work (I had to be out on the road 2-1/2 hours before sunrise to fit it in), then halfway to work I thought I was going to have to pull over. I took a pill as soon as I got to work but it took a few hours for the vertigo to pass. They're a 6 hour pill so I take one as soon as I get up, then another 6 hours later, and that seems to be the trick. Today I forgot to take one until 7 hours and I was already starting to feel lightheaded.
I keep getting interrupted by work projects so I'm just going to post this. At least I said hi.0 -
Hope that goes away quick! Wow I am not going to complain any more. I felt dizzy that one day after treadmill so I know what it feels like, like your going to pass out and scary.0
