Could be a goiter? it seems to be at the top right side of my thyroid, but on the inside so it's pressing on my trachea and slightly on the larynx. Damn painful and difficult to turn head, swallow.... especially both at once! ouch.
Has anyone heard of this associated with Keto FLu? I'm thinking it might be potassium or iodine washout/deficiency and i am drinking electrolytes (MIO) and taking magnesium & iodine drops (started I today with double dose) and have been eating avocado (high in potassium) and have a bone broth on the stove now. Any ideas or feedback are welcome. I plan to go to my internal medicine doc tomorrow, just to make sure...
Thx!

I had a dull ache with a lump that developed last week. This was different than the typical sore throat and swollen glands. After a few days, I went to the doc. It's getting better now with an antibiotic. It was an infection, I assume from a cold I had a month ago. I've had a fair amount of sinus drainage, so I thought might be related. If it doesn't get better soon, I'd see your doc.0

I believe the doctor visit is in good order. I don't believe this is keto related. Likely viral, or bacterial, and needs treatment. Hope you feel better! Congratulations on getting your electrolytes in!0

I would guess it is the flu, plain old flu. My kids have sore throats and one has moved into the snotty phase. Could it be swollen glands?
I hope it goes away soon and it isn't thyroid related. Do you have thyroid issues? Some of my autoimmune problems, like arthritis, actually flared up and got a bit worse when I first entered ketosis. I think it was a shock to my body. Could that be it?0
