Marla - Yes, the joys of marriage. I got to the point where my hubby was incredibly unhelpful in figuring out presents for his family that I finally quit stressing about it. I buy them a little something, but figure it's up to him really to get it all figured out. We still haven't mailed theirs because he hasn't gotten his brother anything and claims he is going to. I just shrugged. They won't have presents on Christmas but it's not my fault.
Laura - My sister and I just buy a movie for our kids. I have three and she has two, so to keep it fair so that she's not always buying an extra present we just buy one for the whole family. It works out well. Same with my hubby's sister, except it's a game or puzzle instead of a movie (she's anti-screen time).

Got all our billing and paperwork done and balanced our checkbook...digitally anyway. So now our house is finally in fairly good functional order. There are a few nooks and crannies that I need to clean out, but they weren't stressing me out the way some of these other more pressing matters were. Today, I'll be at church all day getting stuff done and ready so that I don't have to worry over Christmas about it. I'm off for a run now...hoping to get about 8 miles in. Have a wonderful Tuesday!

    Hi!

Speaking of presents, I recently discovered I'd done some Christmas shopping back in Nov during lil girl bday shopping. I'm a wait-til-Christmas-eve kinda person, so I had totally forgotten. Anyway, it's gonna be a good Christmas for lil girl, lol!

Well, I survived yesterday BARELY. Took lil girl shopping and by the time we picked son up, could barely walk. It was awful. He helped me with his sister as I hobbled us down to the neighborhood center to pick up fresh goodies for kinder party. No way I could shop and cook so I took them for food close by and son did his homework there while lil girl ate (slowly). Her play was cute, but the party was the normal Greek disorganized mess that makes me crazy. It didn't even start til after 8pm, ugh! So anyway, today I wake up and my legs feel GREAT. Kept sick lil girl home, so only dropped aNd picked son and shopping near his school, so didn't do any walking today and my legs never hurt. Not at all! I guess there is still hope. Yay! Also hubby got home. He will be working tomorrow while I do wrapping of stuff he brought from US and I have to take the kids shopping after school so fingers crossed about my legs.

Gym is offering a great deal and I'm thinking of taking it. Maybe overly optimistic about my schedule and my legs, but at just 99 bucks for the whole year...who cares, right?!
