Learning a new WOE

Hi Everyone – I have been experimenting with the LCHF WOE since August 2015, and have been lurking here and learning a ton of new information from the folks in this group. By experimenting, I have been trying to find my best balance of macros, introducing supplements, and excluding (then reintroducing) certain foods such as dairy and nightshades (tomatoes & peppers primarily). My main goals are to reduce inflammation and bloating, reduce brain fog, and find better focus and more energy. I have been counting carbs only, and my goal is to hover at or below 50g per day. Somedays I am more successful at this than others, but I am a work in progress
.
I have posted a few times here, yet have neglected to introduce myself. So I wanted to say HELLO and express my thanks to all the wonderful people who share your knowledge and experience in this group. Your posts continue to help me immensely with understanding a LC and keto WOE, and understanding supplements and electrolytes (I still have a lot to learn about these). It’s nice to have this group to visit and help keep me on track during the tough times as I still have cravings and too many moments of regrettable weakness. You're success stories are very inspiring. I’ve found the Launch Pad to be a great help for further research! I am a 43 year old working mom, have a sweet hubby who eats all my experimental LC cooking (yay!), and I live in California, USA. Best wishes and thanks! Star

@ShootingStar72 , I am a few months behind you with my understanding and progress, but I agree with what a goldmine this group is and how much I appreciate the "real life" information and inspiration! The Launch Pad is excellent and the thread where people post photos of their LC meals is fantastic--a picture is worth a thousand words. Thanks to everyone!0

I have never seen such a lengthy and informative Launch pad, it has every question and answer you could possibly think of.
I have a confession to make... On our boxing day, which was still Christmas day in America, and the forums were dead, i went back through the 158 something pages here and read all the way back to present. Kept me occupied for hours lol0 -
LOL. My kids are jealous that Santa goes to you before he gets to us!0

Lol. They really are! We follow the NORAD Santa Tracker every year so we know exactly where Santa is throughout the day. They dislike the fact that Western Canada is one of the last places on earth that he visits.0

That's just plain mean of himReading your posts makes me wish my adult kids were little again. They would have loved the norad Santa tracker!

I'll need to check out Santa Tracker next year as well. My 6 year old son would love it! I bet western US is at the end of the journey as well.0
