    Lately I have been making up a batch of pizzelles - each one is only approx. 23 calories and a couple are very satisfying with a cup of coffee.

    I like making own veggie or fruit chips. Thinly sliced apples, bananas, sweet potatoes make great chips. I also like to make carrot or kale chips. For any of these I make a dip with plain Greek yogurt, avocado, and lime juice for the savory chips and add a little honey for the sweet chips. When I make them I portion out the chips and the dip into single serving containers. But steamed edamame with a little sea salt is my all time favorite snack. Pick Sweet Vegetables makes single serving microwave steamable edamame. I keep those stocked in my freezer. I also like wasabi peas for a hot and spicy crunch.
