I've had two very bad food weeks. Just started being good yesterday. :/

I'm up 2.2 lbs and my tracking has been terrible until Monday...it was a rather sudden jump of 4 lbs that has since started to come back down, so I think a lot of it is water weight from all the rich food and alcohol of the many Christmas parties...on the plus side, I'm the driver for New Year, so there won't be drinking involved and the place we are going doesn't have much gluten free so there won't be any tempting food either...at least this week the holiday should not be a problem, and I am totally going to stay on top of the tracking!

I'm up a pound, which is annoying given how diligent I've been the past week. :/ There's no conceivable way I gained a pound in the last seven days.
I'm going to pass it off as water weight and hope I'll see a bigger drop next week.

I'm FINALLY down almost a pound. This is the first positive change I've seen since the beginning of the challenge. And since it's a pound down from my start weight, it's actually more than a pound for the past week since I gained a bit over Christmas. Woohoo!

Up a pound and a half. I decided to take the week off from logging and to focus on wrapping up a bunch of stuff for 2015. I haven't been able to get as much sleep, but most of the good habits continue. One of those habits involves stress management. This has been less stressful for me. I'm looking forward to returning to logging on January 2nd. I'm also looking forward to getting some much needed sleep next week as well. Wishing everyone a happy new year!

I am so happy to see the scale move down over Christmas week. I indulged but I also made sure I stayed really active. We traveled over the holidays and I made sure to hit the gym at our hotels even if it was just to walk on treadmill for 30 minutes. I think that made a big difference because usually once I start in on the Christmas goodies, I just throw in the towel and my eating goes completely crazy. I had one day like that but got back on track the next day. I thought this challenge would be impossible over the holidays but I'm finding it has truly been a sanity-saver for me. Thanks again to all of you who continue to log in even when the numbers aren't what we want. I think that accountability has kept me going.

The past two weeks were rough. I didn't gain any but didn't loose either. I love the holidays but really glad to refocus on healthy eating and achieving my goal.
