I'm new to counting macros but I want to give it a go post plan - do I need to upgrade to premium so I can track macros in grams or am I ok tracking in %?

Most of the advice I have seen says the pie charts are not accurate and you need to enter your macros in grams and the measure daily in grams (rather than looking at the pie chart) as to whether you have hit them.

I think you can only do this if you go premium.

I upgraded for a month initially to see if I would use it and then paid for yearly.

£40 per annum if memory serves me and something like £7 or £8 per month.

It's not worth it in my opinion! I got a free 3month upgrade through O2 priority on 1st Jan and I'm not impressed. The free version does everything I need. I inputted my macros for training days and then on rest days I just remember my protein and fat macros and eat accordingly. The free version shows you grams of each macro after the % when you look at the pie chart so that's all you need really.
