IF resources, suggestions, tips?

I know this has been discussed numerous times, but can someone point me to some good resources on intermittent fasting? I've started doing 24-hour fasts on some weekdays (nothing but coffee and water until dinner a couple days a week) but want to learn more about fasting so I can be sure I'm doing it "right." Also, on fasting days do you worry about your total calorie count? I'm finishing the day with something like 600 calories or so. I'm alternating days, because the day after I've fasted I'm just ravenously hungry. Advice? Personal experiences?
Also, I looked in the LaunchPad, and I noticed there's a link to fitness trackers, but maybe we can add IF there too, since a lot of us are doing it and curious about it?

Yeah. I've bookmarked this. Do a resource dump in the thread, y'all, and I'll add it.0

This mentions signing up for a free 30 day membership trial to view these videos. I haven't watched them or looked much into IF, but I know that Jason Fung is a well known expert on the subject. There are also some podcasts available on the subject. I'll see if I can grab you a couple links for those too.

And I almost forgot about Brad Pilon, author of Eat Stop Eat.
Here's his interview with Jimmy Moore as well.

I think some people are mind readers around here. Yesterday I was pondering total vs net carbs and someone posted. This morning I woke up thinking about IF and boom here's a post. Will be watching this because I'm curious about IF.0

My favorite fast is The Every Other Day Diet by Dr Varady. She is the primary researcher that most other fast books reference. She suggests 500 calories on fast days and whatever you want on every other day. Dr Fung's fasting protocol is almost identical. Skip breakfast and lunch every other day and eat a small (about 500 calorie dinner). They make no restrictions (on carbs or calories) on eating days. I have to admit though that I have only stuck to this for two weeks at a time where I managed to do the 2 day (24 hour) fasts a week for 3 months a few years ago.
Now I find it easier to eat within a 6-8 hour period most days.
There is really no right or wrong way to fast. However I used to break fasts with fruit which increases hunger. Now I break with high fat foods like eggs or avocados.0
