Big change in levels in less than two months

Has anyone had any experience with this?
I'm awaiting a call from my endo after getting results (they screened my thyroid levels even though I went to my primary care for a sinus infection... because they're very much a, "Oh, you have thyroid issues, let's blame EVERYTHING on those.").
I have been steadily lowered on levothyroxine for the last 1.5 years (137 to 100 mcg) after experiencing thyroidtoxicosis from medication (too high, too long) that actually ended up with cortisol problems and my weight gain that brought me to MFP. So, all along, my issues have been very low TSH (0 the lowest for a long time) that always seemed to be outside of the normal range.
My second to last blood test showed a TSH of .34 in late-April/early-May. This result taken a week ago showed a TSH of 3.59, so outside of the normal range... on the other side. Obviously my primary was, "Uh, see your endo. Idek."
Further elaboration: I have no thyroid. I take my medication regularly. I'm not pregnant (according to the doctor and a pregnancy test I took on my own).

Not myself, but I have a close friend who is also hypothyroid. Her TSH went from somewhere around 2.0 to nearly 7.0 in less than two months earlier this year :noway: Unfortunately the docs didn't know how to explain it and they just adjusted her levothyroxine (increased) and it leveled out fairly quickly. However I just wanted to let you know that it has happened to others even seemingly without explanation.
However her GP isn't great so perhaps with a more informed doc or endo she may have got an actual explanation for what went on. Best of luck to you0
