January Goal / Activities?

Hi everyone, because 100 pounds in 12 months is a lot to take in, how about short-term goals that we can use in combination with our weekly challenges?
For January, my goal is to lose 8 pounds. To do that I will:
Log everything (this week's challenge) - and also stay under my calories
Eat at least 4 vegetable/fruits every day (I'll get to 5/6 later)
Continue my current fitness activities, and add an extra Jazzercise class
Plan lunches and dinners
Try one new (healthy) recipe each week

My goal is to lose 10. It is the first month and I typically drop more in the first- water weight and all. I Will do this by logging everything that goes in my mouth and I do a daily workout through fitness blender 5-6 days a week is the program I am doing. In addition my goal is to hit 5k steps on my fit bit daily. I have a very sedetary job so 5k is about 3500 more than my normal amount.0

4 days down, struggling on veggies...jeez that's a tough one. Still, my weigh in was today and I was down the 2 pounds I gained over the holidays plus a little more! Jazzercise tonight.0

I'm hoping to lose 10lbs this month... To achieve this, I'm tracking "everything" daily and staying within my caloric goal, making sure I get my water in, doing 30 minutes per day on my treadmill for 5 of the 7 days per week and.... Achieving no less than 10,000 steps daily on my Fitbit 7 days a week. One more biggie for me is cutting out alcohol (red wine) this month. I know it has definitely contributed to my massive weight gain last year. Good luck all!!!0

I'm hoping to lose 8lbs by the end of the month. To do this I will increase my veggie intake by planning on having salad for either lunch or dinner 6 days a week. I also want to avoid all soda, and make sure I get my 8 cups of water every day.0

I'm hoping to lose 10 lbs by month end. I will log absolutely everything and I will increase my activity level throughout the day. My plan is to leave my desk and office for a quick walk around our building at least twice a day.0

You beat me too it! I had this planned for February my goal is 10lbs. I'm cutting out fast food breakfast and logging everything. I'm also working on a list of nsv, that will be revealed as time goes on. Small steps one at a time so that I'm making a real lifestyle change.0

I'm not setting a weight loss goal, but rather activity goals.
My goals are to continue to log every day, do strength training twice a week, and 30 minutes of cardio five times a week.
The past few days I haven't consumed as much water as I should, so for the rest of the month I'm going to strive to drink 96oz of water a day.0
