No offense here! It is a true pic of the thoughts that weigh us down and keep us from our goals.
Yesterday i had one of those can't stop eating days, felt out of control and no matter how much i ate didn't feel full.
I think I know what it was i came back from walk super tired but my mind was racing. I spent afternoon reading and eating. I think i was frustrated i had so much to do and no energy to do it.

Marla, I know those days. They are okay when I do the shopping (carrots and cucumbers can't hurt too much). But one of those days while DH is here doing the shopping (junk food) has disastrous results. But anyway, you get through it and keep going. I guess that's all we can do.
Laura, it's Sherry, lol. No name has more spellings than mine, and I've gotten them all at one point or another. Lol. Baristas can't even mess with me.
Val, so do you have a taper built into your marathon prep? You're getting close enough to be reaching your taper period aren't you?
Today I unapologetically slept! After DH walked out the door with the kids, I went back to bed! It was great! I've been having those chest things at night again which results in little sleep. I'm afraid to take the med the dr. gave me bc I wonder if it has a rebound effect meaning I can't go off it. I finally scraped some beet powder from the bottle (the only thing that helps) and got some sleep last night, but it was very late. Less than a week til DH leaves. Return ticket is June, although he will probably do a mini trip back in between, idk. I must grab all the rest I can now, bc when he's gone it's all on me again. Did afternoon school pickups, and all that sleep helped me to get about six errands done! Not bad.

Marla that was me Tuesday night.
Sherry glad you got some sleep!
I'm home sick today. Slept until 10, am about to eat lunch (it's just after noon), and then I'm going back to sleep.0 -
Did the doctors ever think it could be stress the chest pains? With kids and hubby traveling all the time.0

It's been suggested, esp by DH. But I had it while on a very easy relaxing vacation (half the time) but didn't have it when traveling to US alone with two kids (and other stressful times, like during my sons three day 6am-10pm photo-video shoot--it disappeared during that stressful period!). There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it, but I sometimes suspect it's related to erratic hormones of a 40 something year old woman. I WILL figure it out some day though! Yes, I will!
