So I'm getting back into Keto and someone told me they use the ramen seasoning in warm water for sodium. Does anyone know the nutritional info on just the packet? (Chicken flavor) I keep seeing dif things. Some say 0 carbs, some say 13 carbs. Grr!! I hope it wasn't 13 carbs!!!

Hi, I googled and found this forum discussion, fwiw: http://www.lowcarbfriends.com/bbs/showthread.php?t=739905

I think I agree with the comment there that the carbs on the listings are probably mostly in the noodles, so just using the spices won't add much. You can see the original ingredients in Top Ramen here:

My DH loves the stuff, I haven't been eating it much lately

That reminds me, add a raw egg to the water and packet. As it boils, stir, and you've got a tasty meal.

    Okay. Thanks!
Not that 13 would make or break me but I'd rather not waste 13 calories on it lol.

this is my lunch most days. I can make a packet last for 4 cups (small foam coffee cup @ work)...about double what the soup pack calls for. I add heavy cream for cream-style soup. These are so cheap, I don't feel bad about tossing the noodles away.

That's a great idea. I wouldn't have thought to add an egg. I would have to check the ingredients on the packet, though. I'm kinda funna with MSG and additives.

I just use the beef or chicken bouillon cubes with 1/2 butter for needed sodium and to fill me up between meals if I get hungry... Very low cal (60?) and very filling. egg sounds great idea will try that
