Before we go on and maybe think something like:
"But I like hard metcons."
Let's check ourself and make sure the translation isn't:
"But I like eating."

Remember: It's easy to lose weight without a formal exercise program. Your BMR is about 1500 cals. + the usual moving of the day. So if you eat less (calories in)...you are in cal deficit and will lose fat.

Also remember: You can't outwork a *kitten* diet.

The reason that 90% of people "exercise" is to lose (or not get) fat. If you are trapped in the "I workout so I can eat, so I have to workout, so I can eat...," get out of it. Be done with it. It doesn't work (how many fat people have you seen working out year after year? yeah, alot!), and it's just mentally exhausting to be mired in that *kitten*. (Though the Coca-Cola rollout has us believe that's how we should live....are you joking us?) coca-cola.co.uk/stories/health/get-active/work-it-out-calculator/

Doing a formal exercise program is best directed by
1) Yes, what you like to do. Intrinsic motivation is powerful.
2) But also by what you'd rather NOT do.
2) As much diversity as possible. Strength, Power, Aerobic, and Rest Days. All are necessary for overall fitness.
3) Truly understanding that you enjoy moving. Punishing yourself b/c you ate too much is craaaaaaaziness! Control the diet, then move to live!
