This is a new type of sweetener I've not tried yet. If you tried it can you tell me what you thought? Especially if you are a diabetic? I'm seeing a lot if conflicting info online. The main issues seem to be:
1. It might raise blood sugar levels like sugar?
2. It has a bitter taste
3. It's not very sweet

True?

I'm not diabetic, I've been using it a couple weeks. I like it no bitter or metallic taste like stevia. I believe @dittodan has used it, I saw it mentioned in one of his posts

I bought some today. Tastes good in my tea. I use incredibly little sweetener in tea though, so even stevia tastes good to me in tiny amounts.
I tend to like more sweetener in my coffee so I'll try it in that tomorrow. I have not liked stevia in coffee so far.
It's 0.5 carbs per packet compared to 1 for Splenda or sweet n low.
My T1D daughter will try it eventually, but Splenda or sweet n low don't have any blood sugar effect on her so I doubt this will either.

It has two carbs a packet according to the reviews I was looking at, but ppl were saying it majorly affected their BG, which made no sense to me. If it's so low in calories it can't have enough carbs to really impact much of anything. Can it?

Oh. My package said .5 I thought. I'll have to look again.
Don't forget, sometimes people say stuff like that but don't reveal they used 10 packets or something so we end up thinking they're talking about a reaction to one. Lol
