    Yay Monday 7/15!

    I am enjoying the rain and slightly cooler weather we are having in North Texas. It is a blessing :) I mostly still doing LS Ultimate 5 Day, but I change it up on Fridays now with LS's Belly Blasting-- I finally got it last week and I love it. It is VERY challenging, but fun :)

    I normally post on Mondays, however I will not be posting any longer. I did get 16 additional miles last week and I only need 6 miles to complete this month's challenge- which I will complete by Tuesday.

    To all my friends: After much consideration, I have decided to discontinue my account on MFP due to personal reasons (mostly due to lack of support and personal attacks). I find these things distracting from my goals so I will be switching fully to Sparkpeople and tonight will be my last night logging on here. I will be shutting down my account officially tomorrow. I will miss you, my friends, and will treasure the support you gave always. It was a pleasure getting to know you all and I wish you all well on you fitness journey. *Hugs*

    4 miles walking outdoors (one dog walk and 3 alone)

    My goals now, as of today: are to actually walk outdoors weather or time permitting, in addition to walking the dog, and begin again using the DVDs again. I feel like I am back to square one again :frown: .

    So far: 0 Leslie/ other walking DVD miles

    So far: approximate 25 outdoor miles

    I have been struggling on several fronts and have slipped back into not actively exercising, other than walking the dog. When I walk the dog I take her to do her 'thing' and also incorporate walking her a mile of 'active' walking. Meaning in the middle of the street where she has no choice but to keep walking b/c there aren't any doggie distractions to slow her down. I have measured out safe places, at least for now (no mean or overbearing stray or unleashed dogs at the moment :noway: ) to walk her so I know she (and I) get a good mile in.

    I am sorry that I have not been around to support you all and am hopefully back on track and emerging from where I was slipping off to.

    I was delighted to see many new walkers this month!! A warm welcome to each of you. And such a joy to see our regulars who have faithfully kept this group going. Love and hugs to you all :heart: .

    Been unmotivated and depressed for the past month due to personal family issues. Only able to force myself to do the NuStep once a day and only because Barn Hill expects me to. Please help me...I used to LOVE exercise and now I HATE it... Been on the South Beach Diet since June 9th and have lost 3 pounds. I suppose it's a step-at least the plateau is broken. Thanks for hearing me out.

    Sue, I'm sorry to have read this today. I have been struggling with similar issues and have not been here all month b/c I tend to go into isolation and eating badly when I start to slide away b/c of how I react to family things. I am proud of you for loosing the 3 pounds!! I on the other hand have gained between 3-4 pounds and have not forced myself to exercise other than to walk the dog. And that is a force b/c I can easily send her out into the back yard, but she is a hyper sort of dog and needs her energy to be used up.

    Happy to read the the South Beach Diet has been working for you. I remember when you started it and great to read that you are continuing with it with good results!!

    I truly hope that things will start to get better for you in all ways. Sending you hugs and love.
