Macros - grams or percentages?

Hi! So I got in a LOT more activity than usual, thanks to the 18" of snow that needed to be relocated. I went to log my food, and bam! Macros automatically adjusted to account for extra energy spent. I went from 40g to the 60g being "acceptable@ as far as MFP is concerned.

So riddle me this, Batman... Do I listen to the mass (grams) or do I listen to the ratio? PM is fine. Thanks!

    Carbs should be a flat limit. MFP Premium allows you to do that...but most of us just know our number is a set number.

    That being said, if you have slightly more carbs BEFORE physical activity, you'll use them up before stored energy, but it could affect your levels of ketosis. Most folks actually aiming for nutritional ketosis leave carbs as a flat number, and just increase fats and protein.
