Help with binge eating

There are times I just want to eat everything in sight...and I do! I'm not hungry...I just want to eat.
My honeymoon is in less than 4 weeks. I have no motivation to diet/exercise. Or I'll do really good one day and binge the next. I only need to lose 10-15 lbs.
Is there a chocolate protein shake or something I can take that will satisfy cravings and fill me up?

Okay, it sounds like you're probably being too strict on yourself on the 'good' days and bingeing because you've denied yourself the day before. Have what you want of the rich foods but in smaller quantities, much smaller quantities. Eat three square meals a day and plan snacks. A lot of people just need to learn portion control so start there and see how you go.
And you need to set yourself realistic goals. It's probably not healthy, or even possible, to lose 10-15lbs in less than 4 weeks. Good luck!0 -
Protein powder (add a scoop to anything), protein shakes. Eggs are really filling - egg whites carry the majority of the protein and have less fat than the yolk so you could stick with those. Allow small snacks like almonds, avocado, banana, Greek yogurt + berries, etc. Greek yogurt is one of my favorite ingredients - versatile and filling. I just discovered muesli and mixed it with greek yogurt and frozen berries. It's a super filling breakfast or snack! You'll find it near the oats, maybe near the organic foods, in your local grocery store. Beef jerky, or even better turkey jerky, is high protein & low fat. The only downfall is the sodium so drink lots of water. If you mix chocolate protein powder with a banana and low-fat milk and ice, you'll have a filling and healthy shake. Replace sandwich bread with wraps and up the meat content to stay full (chicken wrap, tuna wrap). I love the crock pot recipes on skinnytaste.com for easy dinners that you can eat multiple days. These are just some ideas that have worked for me lately!
Bottom line is healthy fats and protein keep me full! Start googling high protein foods and meals, and you'll find tons of ideas.0 -
Just one thing is that, with all that protein, you probably should try to throw in a quick workout each day. Even a 30 min speed walk session would be better than nothing. Or buy a jump rope and blast some music in your home. I get motivated by following a ton of fit and healthy ladies on social media.0

I have to say, I am very much in the same boat a lot of the time. For me, it's emotional. I have anxiety and I don't handle stress very well, so when I have an off day the first thing I reach for is food. Usually candy, chips, popcorn, anything sugary or fatty. Hell, if there's nothing in the house that's sugary I'll just load up a bagel with cream cheese, boil some pasta, sprinkle parmesan cheese on anything I can get my hands on. If you feel like it's emotional or stress eating, it might be a good thing to talk to your doctor about some options for dealing with the underlying issue.
Just forgive, and keep on trying.0
