If you make that jicama thing, let me know how it turns out. I made faux-fried apples out of zucchini once, but I really want jicama to be a better substitute.0

@Lillith32 I didn't try it. What I did was purchase a can of no sugar added apple pie filling and put it on top of Kroger carbmaster vanilla yogurt. It wasn't apple pie, but it killed the craving for it.0

My daughter made apple crisp today. Now I don't want to eat an apple due to the sugar content in the apple, not to mention added sugar or sweetener added to the baled dish. But I enjoyed about one tablespoon of the finished product mixed with some real whipped cream sweetened with stevia. It helped me feel satisfied that I had a treat but I didn't go overboard on carbs. I ate maybe about 1/10th of an apple today. I had a taste of apple flavour and that's all I needed.0
