I am on week 6 of C25K I've started around May ( One "week" can technically be 10 days for me because running is not my main cardio it's what I do on my "rest" days, I have never needed to repeat a day)

I wear my HRM while running and I get an average of around 130 for my workout. It seems incredibly low since I'm over 200 lbs and not in the best shape. I do not run fast but I can do over 20 min non stop.)

What is your experience with that?

Hi, i'm on week 6 too, i have repeated week 5, so it will take me a little longer to complete the programme. I'm over 200lbs and ive got to say 130 is low, i'm averaging in late 140s to mid 150s. Max HR can go as high as 160, when i've found the session really tough. I think it must be because you are fit with the other exercise you do. I wouldnt see it as a bad thing but a great thing. As a matter of interest what does your HR do whilst your doing your other workouts?

    Good luck, x

Read the book "Be A Better Runner" for why, but you're doing it right.
