Challenge yourself to get up & get moving!! Post your goal & your results here. Try to achieve a 15mi/week minimum. Feel free to go above & beyond! If you have to start with less, so be it!

For the folks returning you know that the 15 miles is not the main goal. The main goal is just to get up and get moving, if you don't meet it that's fine and you surpass it, well that just freaking rocks.

For newcomers the preferred method of posting miles would be:

Post the day, what you did that day for miles (run, walk, hike, bike, elliptical - all miles count!) - posted daily or when the miles occur...

Week 1: (Feb 1-6)
Week 2: (Feb 7-13)
Week 2: (Feb 14-20)
Week 4: (Feb 21up to & including Mon, Feb 29)

WTD: (Total- Miles, any miles - total for the week so far)

As always this is not set in stone, if you post every other day or whatever fits into your schedule, but please try to stay close to the above format.

    Well February has started off rather frustrating. I hurt my back while at the zoo Sunday so I'm down for now. On the up side it's hurting less each day. Unfortunately what seems to hurt me the most is lifting my left leg which is difficult to avoid when running since everything is a hill here.

    I totally wimped out yesterday in the cold and snow but made myself go today.

    Sciatica flair up has slowed me down but I managed to walk 2.5 miles yesterday and 3.5 today. Inside, on the treadmill because the single digit wind chill has reduced me to a shivering wimp.

I'm having a wicked February- I fell yesterday while shoveling snow and landed hard on my shoulder. I'm so ready for summer. How are you in shorts?! My son was home from school again today.

    Moving helps my sciatica; it's just rather painful to get moving. It's getting better as I walk more. I did 3.4 miles today. I'm having a wicked February- I fell yesterday while shoveling snow and landed hard on my shoulder. I'm so ready for summer. How are you in shorts?! My son was home from school again today.

    freaky warm weather here yesterday... the rest of the week is looking fine also! hoping for some outdoor bike & long run miles this weekend! woohoo :smile:

    I love how you keep moving even with your aches & pains... NEVER let it make you quit!!

    My doc told me that all the exercise I do is probably what's keeping me mobile. (I have degenerative disc disease, 2 herniated discs in my neck... now confirmed arthritic knees... ahh.. gettin' old-er is sooooo much fun! NOT.)
