Hi folks! I'd love a more experienced keto-er to check out my diary! Do my macros look good? How's my carbs?
Thanks in advance!

Stupid thing. I swear it's public! Try this? http://www.myfitnesspal.com/food/diary/jessicaesqueda04090 -
Total sugar is a bit high, but just in the last few days. The Starbucks shows 16g sugar but only 12g carbs. It has to be at least 16 since the sugar is 16. That's 4 teaspoons of sugar. I'm sure that's not a daily thing, but that much sugar will definitely create an insulin response and possibly trigger sugar cravings.
The only other thing I would avoid is those Dannon yogurts. Each little cup is 2 teaspoons of sugar.
Now, that's just what I would do. Doesn't exactly mean you can't make that work for you. But I'm very anti sugar in thinking so I tend to be very strict with that.0 -

Thank you! The coffee was totally a splurge today, although I think the sugar may be off. It's sugar free, with heavy cream instead of milk. I calculated it at around 8g carbs, but there's not a specific listing for it on their site. Bummer, right?
I've been seriously struggling to locate yogurt that's low in carb. The Dannon is the best I've found anywhere! I'd love your suggestions if you know a trick0 -
If the coffee is sugar free and unsweetened, then the only carb is from the milk sugar, right? Complicated.0

Yeah. That's how I get mine. I go with Americano with sugar free syrup and heavy cream. It's only a few carbs. I'll see if I can screen shot the info I use for it.
I'm not sure if you have a Kroger by you, but they make a yogurt called Carb Master. It's low fat, unfortunately and has artificial sweetener, but tastes really good. I don't eat it anymore because I try to get as little artificial sweetener as possible lately. I think it's 5g per 4 oz. cup. And maybe 1g is sugar from the dairy.0 -

Thank you! I think the carb count was a touch off, then. Anyway, I drank half of it (so heavy!!) so that's even less carbs. I'll do the Americano next time. That's actually my usual order, with two pumps sugar free cinnamon dolce. Yum!
Thanks for the recommendation on yogurt. I don't have a Kroger, but we do have Fred Meyer, which is owned by the same company. Maybe I'll luck outIn the meantime, I removed the yogurt from my diary, and the kiddo can have it. The benefits of logging in advance, right?
I was told I should be hitting around 200g of fat per day until I'm adjusted. Thoughts?0 -
Here's the entry I use for an Americano at Starbucks. You have to log the cream separately.
Here's an example of info for one flavor of the carb master yogurt in a 4oz cup. The sugar is higher than I said before, but it's the dairy sugar and not added sugar.
For some reason if you buy the little cups of the yogurt in vanilla the carbs are higher than the same 4 oz serving of the vanilla you buy in the large tub. This info is for the large tub, 4 oz serving.
