You are perfectly fine. That isn't high at all.

Are you seeking ketosis for specific health reasons, or just weight loss? What's your height and weight?

Generally speaking, the range you're at is fine for general "weight loss" keto, which has more room to flex than medically necessary keto. If you're doing it for medical purposes, then you'll want a blood ketone meter to guide your food decisions.

To compare, when I'm following my ideal way of eating, my protein ranges from 120 to 160g. I'm 5'9" and about 250lb with somewhere around 140-170lb of lean mass, which puts me about 1g per pound of lean mass in protein, which is what is commonly accepted as adequate protein.

Im 5'4 and 297.4lbs. I did not start keto for any health reasons, only for weight loss. Hoping to get down another 100lbs with IF+Keto. Still getting the macros part down.

Nope. Protein is fairly fixed as a range, unless you specifically seek to increase muscle mass, and even then, it's not going to be by a whole heck of a lot.

You're fine, then. You may not be as deep in ketosis some days, but that's not really much of a factor for purposes of weight loss. It only matters more in medical ketosis, because those people need to keep a tighter rein on exactly where they sit.

For things outside of ketosis, itself, if you're getting adequate fat, it takes a ton of protein to have any adverse effects. Basically, just don't try to live off boneless, skinless chicken breasts and you'll be fine.
