You all amaze me so much. I have only been lurking here for a short time but from everything I have ready I am amazed. People ask how my diet is going but none of them have much interest in it. What I say falls on deaf ears or comments like that is too restrictive for me. What I have seen first hand by cutting carbs as low as I can is this stuff really works. Thanks to this forum I am not going it totally alone. Not to mention I have somewhere to go when I have questions which is often. I seek to understand. Even more so now because it is really important to me. As a teenager all the way into mu early 20s I just stopped eating to lose weight. I am older and much wiser so I am obviously trying to not resort to that. I want to lose weight and remain healthy. I do not have a lot to lose so people do not get it. I can not only feel it I can see it. This is important to me. Even if I have no one at home gets it. This forum makes it easier to make this adjustment. Thank you so much from a newbie.

Welcome! And I know how you feel; I started this a few months ago. I have one IRL friend who's done keto but we don't see each other much so I feel a little alone/on the fringes in this too. This group has been amazing! I'm positive I wouldn't have lasted this long without it.0
