So happy with the good news. I hope - nah, I know - everything will keep improving.

So glad to hear your daughter is making positive progress, albeit slower than you would like. Dealing with Type 2 diabetes feels like nothing more than a nuisance compared to what she's going through with Type 1. I had no idea it could be so incredibly challenging to manage. I hope she can get into a comfortable groove with her food and meds soon. I think most of us would be feeling pretty insecure after gaining 20 lbs of water weight in 3 days, but it sounds like she's focusing on getting her body well again. Hang in there mamma! It's got to be tough for her too needing you so much at her age.0

I'm so glad to hear she is improving! It's great what you've been able to do to help her through helping yourself! She seems like a super smart young lady! I'm proud of her for standing up for herself with the doctor too!0

Great to hear about the good progress. With such great support from you I'm sure she will get better and flourish xx0

Thanks! She still has lots and lots of water retention, but blood sugar isn't swinging high and low all over the place and insulin use is waaaaaay down. She's still letting it run around 150 right now because the water is being so stubborn. Will probably be going to see the doctor again if it doesn't start to change more dramatically soon.0

Thanks for the updates! I hope the water retention gets resolved soon.0

I finally was able to catch up on this thread, and I'm SOOO happy to know that there is progress, albeit slow progress, for your daughter. Just her shift in mindset is shockingly great in and of itself... Sending good thoughts. Hugs, @Sunny_Bunny_0
