February, Week 2 - 8th to 14th

Heading towards Valentine's day..... Should I buy hubby chocolates? Maybe his favourite chocolate bar.... Good thing I am not a huge fan of chocolates...

Today I am going to see how long I can concentrate on work...will go to my home office and test. As long as I stop coughing so much I should be able to go back to work tomorrow.

    Week 1 - 22.26...a little short. Goal is 101 for the month and 8 days at 5+.

    8 - 3.28
    9 - 5.21
    Total = 30.75, 2/8

    I started a C25K again yesterday. I find that the treadmill is a lot easier than outside (that's where I've done them before and never finished!). It was really hot in the gym yesterday, but I pushed through and was able to do the entire workout!! Next time, I'll make sure to grab a treadmill near the fan! We've been doing Tues/Thurs at the gym, and the workout is 3 days a week, so that means carving out some time on Saturday as well. There's no reason we can't!! Hopefully that will bump up my 5+ days too!!!

    We are currently signed up to do 5K's on March 12, April 2, and April 16. The BF just wants to walk, but my goal is to be able to run one completely. If I stick with this C25K, I will finish it the 2nd week of April, and hopefully be able to run the April 16 race. It's one we've done before (the BF and I did it last year, and I've done it with friends previous years) and it's a pretty flat race! So is March 12...I've done that one x 4, but he hasn't yet. The one on the 2nd is a new one and the BF wants us to take the puppy with us, if he's doing better with his leash manners. He loves people and would have a blast!!!

    I'm trying to figure out a V-Day for my friend . . . thought of a nice Cole Haan belt one or two sizes smaller than what he is wearing now???

    Feb 10 - 2.3 miles - too many miles and should not have gone to work - too long of a day.

    So today I am back at home - sweating and coughing and Dear Hubby has my flu bug now - so of course it is now the end of the world!! Sorry everyone - but really MEN!!

    All I know is - this house better get sterilized and everyone better before Saturday, our little granddaughter is coming to visit for the day and I don't want her to get the flu - even though she has had the flu shot.....

    Keep up the good work everyone - you are all such an inspiration.

    Almost finished sterilizing the house - have to do it in steps so I don't poop myself out.. Today I will wash the floor and then I will need to go grocery shopping.

    11 - 2.9 = 38.79 miles, 3/8.

    It was gym day, but my ankle has been feeling horrible, so we skipped out. I'm going to get back to it this weekend....

    We are also going to spend time working on the house this weekend. I've emailed my bank contact to set up an appraisal and get going on some additional improvement projects!! :) Lots to do this weekend. Unfortunately, in the job that I have, we don't have Monday off as a holiday.

    Feb 12 - 2 miles .... I really thought I made more steps than that... oh well.

    My little granddaughter is coming to stay while her parents go ice fishing... so I need to wipe surfaces off... I did call ahead and warn the parents that we had a bug in our house, they think we are over the worst and it is okay for Emma to come ....yeah!! We are going to make Valentines cards.

    Went out to check out the boys ice shacks. Not a lot of fish being caught - lots of visiting going on though. Beautiful day out on the lake. When I got home I went for a walk - first one in over a week.

    I've not been feeling well. Haven't been doing as much as I should. I think it's more mood related than anything...exercise would help that, but motivation is so far down that I can't seem to shake the blahs.

    Yesterday, I was only able to stand up twice at work, didn't get a lunch, had a horrible day. Carried on that momentum at home and didn't do much of anything. We did get some stuff done at home over the weekend and I did something like a dozen loads of laundry. Don't think my numbers are that good, though.

    Total = 49.99, 3/8...well, I'm closer to half way than I thought I would be!!!
