Have you increased your calories?

Hi,
I'd like to hear from any ladies who have increased their calorie intake due to joining MFP. I was eating about 1200 cals a day and as MFP says I should be eating 1600 cals and still be losing weight, I've increased my cals.

I started to put weight on with hormone changes 6 months, and am not losing weight despite sticking to the cals. I am actually 1 stone heavier and 2 dress sizes bigger. Can anyone help?
