Marla - Windy roads are something that always make me nervous! Hope you have a nice time on campus!
Sherry - Hope your little girl feels better!
Laura - I have a tempo meter app on my phone that works well. Hopefully your feeling better!
Had a nice time at Youngest's class yesterday. Got everything set for Bible Study last night and had a good time there as well. Did my first set of strength workouts last night in a couple of months. It feels good to be getting back into things again.
This morning I'm visiting a friend and getting some shopping done, then I have middle child and Youngest's parent/teacher conferences this afternoon. Taking this evening off as a family. Hubby is getting extra hours working a day shift today, so on my own for the day. He'll be home tonight.
Have a great Thursday!0 -
Reread your post Laura you just said something kicked your as*....
I was tired yesterday and other than the college thing stayed home. They were having a special all clubs out event in the quad and a few girls brought pets, like a bunny in a walking harness, soo cute! And two baby pigs, they were darling. I had never petted one before.
Today i will walk on trail no matter what! Tonight I am volunteering at debate party at mexican restaurant.
Like Laura my food intake has been horrible. I checked the calendar and i was doing good until after christmas. People usually do better in Jan, this year I was worse. Can't figure why I feel so unmotivated that way. At least I am doing more hiking.
Hope you feel better soon Sherry, as your kids grow you will find you get sick and them less and less thank god!0 -
val, have a nice strength set.
Marla, nice trail walk to you.
I could barely get out of bed today, but I think all the sleep helped. Son did FaceTime with tutor bc I just couldn't take him, no way. Lil girls a bit better an d will go to school tomorrow. I'm just trying to make it to the weekend, esp now tha I'm all out of Sunday leftovers and quick foods. Made a big dinner tonight to last two days but the kids liked it so much that it's all gone! Weeks like this I wish I had some help.0 -
Sherry it would be nice if you could have like a month where everyone was healthy. Seems like you've always got somebody down for the count.
Marla the hiking sounds great.
Val sounds like you're just as busy as always!
I'm 90% healthy again, I think. Had Jason tonight & he had me doing 5 minute intervals on the treadmill between weight circuits. The final one he had me at an incline of 15 with speed of 3.3 and I had to stop it after 3 minutes. My HR wasn't that high (for me) but I felt nauseous and dizzy. HR was 162 when I got on then went to 178, so maybe it was just too much without a recovery between. I wasn't breathing that hard or short of breath - just felt ill. It passed within a few minutes & we were mostly done so I just stretched afterward.0
