The Unintentional Vegetarian

I love meat. I was on Team Meats & Cheeses long prior to deciding to try the LCHF/Keto thing (which was only in the last couple weeks).
However, somewhere along the way of picking what I would be eating with this WOE, I made myself into an unintentional vegetarian - at least during the work week. And even more surprising (to me) is that it fits the macros near perfectly!
I have Coffee with Heavy Cream first thing, then Broth** with Unsalted Butter when I get to work. A fistful of Macadamias at break time and my morning is a solid 400 calories of 43g Fat and only 6g Carbs (3g net), 3g Protein & 1,200mg sodium.
For lunch I have a full serving of Spinach steamed in the microwave topped with Mushrooms I sauteed in Butter and salted, an ounce of Aged Raw Milk Cheddar, Half an Avocado and a few (3) Feta Stuffed Olives. Delicious, filling, and a good ~600 calories consisting of 49g Fat and only 10g Net carbs (20g total). (21g protein, 1000mg sodium).
Later on in the day, I have a Protein shake made with Coconut Milk beverage and Carb Free Protein Powder (Bluebonnet) and another cup of delicious Broth** to keep me sharp.
Today, I will end with 1,369*** calories; 56g Protein*; 28g Total Carbs/15g Net Carbs; 96g Fat; & 3,337mg Sodium
The thing is, I never intended to get through a Low Carb day without eating Meat... I love Meat! It's part of why I went this WOE... but I guess with shopping and convenience, it just never made it into the plan...
I'll certainly have some Chicken Wings and Beef this weekend, Eggs for Breakfast, too, definitely. But I was just kind of blown away that I did this to myself without even realizing haha. I'm also totally satisfied every(week)day with these food choices, rarely hungry.
I guess the takeaway is that if there are any Vegetarians out there wondering if they would be able to do the LCHF thing, here is the proof - Enjoy! :-)
Anyone else find they are forgoing meat somedays without meaning too, but still filling your macros?
*This is like the minimum Protein recommendation for my height/weight... I'd normally aim for higher with this, but since I'm just starting out, I'm focusing more on Fat... is that right to do?
**OK, I'm pretty sure Broth is not actually Vegetarian... but it's not significantly contributing calories and could be substituted with Vegetable Broth for the sodium benefit
*** It's my Friday so I'll also be having two Vodka Clubs this evening ;-)
PS: Sorry if this comes off as a braggy "look at what I can do!" post... I guess I'm just equal parts pumped and flabbergasted, haha... love the LCHF/Keto way!

Some days I'm a carnivore, others I'm an ovo-lacto-vegetarian. Just goes to show the variety of foods that we can eat without feeling deprived.0

Ditto @wabmester I'm the same. I like meat, but I can take it or leave it. I definitely feel like I have that flexibility with this woe.0

This sometimes happens to me too although I like meat too much to do it intentionally every day, but yes, every so often I'll have a day with no meat and I'm still able to hit all my macro goals.0

This would be way too much dairy for me. I assume the protein powder is a whey based one. The butter doesn't cause me too many problems, but cheese and protein powder will. I could probably do this much dairy in a single day, but repeatedly will stop me up.
That said, I never have an accidentally vegetarian day unless I forget to eat entirely. LOL0
