Apparently, they suddenly think I am a new member. Sure, it shows up right below their message from back in 2012 (when they introduced the App Gallery), but they must think I don't know.
It's even funnier because I had been logging recently. Sure, I haven't logged today or maybe yesterday, but still.

If someone sends me a pm, I promise I do read them. I might not see it for a while (because my phone doesn't always show me them when I am in the forums), but I usually see them within a day of getting them. I usually respond as well. I didn't see any from you.
There is one exception. If your friend request included a long message (which warranted a response), I might not have read it. The end of the message gets cut off in the app, and I can't read some of the longer ones without going through multiple steps. If the first part mentioned this group, I probably just accepted you without hesitation. Once I accept, there is no way to see the message again (at least not one I have found). So, I would have never been able to see the end of it.
I usually go through the trouble to load the webpage, and read the whole friend request message (because I know it is a one time thing), but when I am at work, I might have just accepted it.0 -

I do the same @FIT_Goat. Yes to LChf folk and since my phone does not show more than a line of text I usually accept n can not read more than that line without a "choose my own adventure game" to get it to appear0

You know, I just figured that it might work if I send you a message first. So, check and see if you see the one from me.
This concerns me, though. I am worried that people might try and contact me and not get a response and feel like I am ignoring them. I have had many people from this group message me about private issues, concerns about activity on the forums (if someone is acting poorly we ask that people message one of the group leaders), and other stuff. Sometimes it's nothing much, just casual one on one conversations, but some of it can be very important. I would be upset if I missed something important because MFP is silently dropping messages.0 -

Jealous! Oh how I LURVE bourbon. Haven't had any in a month. Cheap hubby.
If I ever get back down to my goal weight again (I'm stuck at 4lb up) I'm stopping for a bottle, even if I have the kids in the car.0
