Okay so maybe workouts are just not for you... that is OKAY!!!! Some of you might just want to start building healthy eating habits!! If this sounds like you then keep reading!! LOL
Most people don't drink enough water or eat enough vegetables or fruit! Sometimes fast-food and sweets are just too tempting... so here is where you give yourself points for the good habits you are making! After reaching a certain number of points treat yourself to a mini-reward!!!!
You drank 64 ounces of water today................... 10 points
You had three servings of vegetables.................. 15 points (5 points per serving)
You had two servings of fruits.............................10 points (5 points per serving)
You had enough to eat but didn't go over your calorie goal..............20 points
You had no sweets or soda today................................10 points
You had no alcoholic beverages........................10 points
You met your Macros goal for the day........................20 points
So, with this format you could earn 100 points a day, 700 a week and 2,800 points in a month!
You of course know yourself the best and maybe you don't drink alcohol and want to challenge yourself a little more by changing that into your protein goal or maybe a workout goal? Feel free to change anything that is not in bold text. The four items that are bold are there to help you eat healthier.
After you have chosen your goals make a point to track how many points you earn each week. Ideally you are improving your healthy habits each week. Post your points weekly and tell us a little about your week. How did it feel eating healthier? What area do you need to focus more on next week?
For extra fun!!!! Keep track of your total and reward yourself with an hour of TV or a new book after you earned a crazy number of points! Like 2,800 or more!
