Well, had a pretty good day yesterday. They ended up buying me lunch after staff meeting, so I went out to eat at a Mexican place. I got a chicken salad that was super tasty so my calories weren't too crazy.
Spent a good amount of time getting our house ready for Bible Study tonight because today we will all be gone until just before people come over. So didn't want to be rushing around like crazy. Also, hubby and I had a good talk. After being married 12 years, I've noticed that over time little things will start to build up and we have to have occasional talks to clear the air. Usually it stems from the fact that personality wise we are on complete opposite ends of the spectrum. So we're always learning about new ways to work out conflict or differences in how we approach things. For example, last night had a lot to do with the fact that I'm very emotion and intuition based and he's always very logic and reason based. So when we have a difference of views, he just states things as fact without mentioning any empathy for my views. Which doesn't mean he doesn't see my side....just won't ever acknowledge it. So I'll get upset and he gets confused and feels like he has to walk on egg shells. So we hashed all that out and understand each other better. It was nice and cleared the air.

Today we are taking sailing lessons. I had to bump back my morning run this morning because youngest kept us up pretty late first by playing and refusing to go to bed...then woke up late at night wailing. Wanted to be well rested, so my run will be tomorrow morning instead *fingers crossed*. Tomorrow we also have sailing lessons and then we're going on a group date with a few other couples. Super excited! Have a great day!

    Sailing lessons! Fun! Enjoy.

Well, my workout plan with the kids has been a flop. I guess "last hired, first fired", in that the newest addition to the routine is the first to get cut in a crunch. Art project yesterday (and son didn't even have regular art class today, grrrr), and a visit today from someone picking up donation stuff (while son vid chat with tutor and lil girl struggled for my attention). Unfortunately, they couldn't fit all the stuff for pickup and must return for the rest. Anyway, homework, dinner, dishes, chores, etc all got done, but not the workout. It will get easier I'm sure, but in the meantime I might have to do it on my own. I made a photo sheet with the exercises for the kids, so they don't necessarily need me to lead them.

Legs pretty good. Sometimes I forget now! But sometimes I have to remember to use my thighs and butt or calf begins to ache a little. Today's threadstarter is a reminder to me, of what got me in this mess. I've been dreaming of running (literally!) and don't want to screw it up if (when) it happens.
