Isolation Float Tank

Anyone ever try one?
I went last week rather coincidentally, not knowing about the magnesium absorption benefits or anything like that. (You are floating on Epson salt. Couldn't sink if you tried!) It was heavenly.
Not to sound frou frou, but I really think it has some great health benefits that low carbers might really appreciate. Along with the Mg, you release all the pressure from your muscles and body and can truly relax. Towards the end, I found myself thinking, "Why did I ever leave the womb?"
I thought it was over too soon, but another friend of mine had to get out after about 45 minutes. Still, I recommend the experience. It's a little costly, but less than/comparable to a massage where I'm at. I felt more relaxed than with a massage as well.

Yes I've gone a few times it was tough for me to let myself relax the first time. It took a little getting used to but was wonderful once I finally did.0

That sounds heavenly. I've never even heard of it. Where do you find such a thing?0

There is one just a few blocks from where I work. There are a three more in the greater Treasure Valley area, where I live. Just search for "floatation tank" on Google and it should pull up locations if there are any close to you.
The atmosphere is very similar to a spa, although I heard of individuals just renting them out of their homes. That sounds hella sketchy.
I live in Boise which isn't known for being super on trend/progressive so I would imagine they are becoming somewhat more common in other metropolitan-ish areas.
EDIT: Just saw you are in Houston. Quick Google search pulled up no less than 15!0 -
Lol yeah I dint think I'd be going to someone's house for that lol. Ours is like a spa too they do packages with floating and sauna. Now I think I need to make a trip0

Right, I was going to say that, being in Houston, I'm 99.9999% sure we have at least a few of everything you can possibly imagine.0
