Weird Observation

I'm sorry I post sooo much. I get bored at work. Don't tell my boss.
Anyway, I used to *always* keep a personal heater at my desk 24/7 even in the summer time. But I've noticed this week that I've needed to turn it down or even off to be comfortable. No other changes to what I'm wearing or the office thermostat setting, I'm just more warm.
Related or coincidence?

Related in my experience! I don't get as cold as I did before!0

We like your posting! I, too, am an avid work poster. Teehee.
I've noticed the same!0 -
I, on the other hand, am always colder as I drop weight. When I get to my goal weight I'll probably be wearing a parka when the weather hits the 80s.0

I've not noticed a change in cold tolerance. I'm always pretty cold.0

I'm another one who's gone cold. I used to hate the heat, but now I'm cold all the time. Guess it's because I have less blubber to keep me warm in the Winter.0

^^^^ this! I'm definitely feeling the lack of "insulation"!!!0

My hands n feet get colder easier.0

I thought maybe my metabolism got a boost/was working more efficiently lately. I like that theory.0

Could also be the coconut oil. Thermogenic, you know.0

Ditto this for me. lol Right now, I find anything less that 73 degrees temperature-wise "cold" enough to need a jacket.SamandaIndia wrote: »My hands n feet get colder easier.

My hands get colder, but at night when sleeping, I am hotter. I guess I get a bit of both. Usually, my body is pretty warm at night, but while LCHFing, it becomes even hotter. It's all well and good until my wife puts her cold feet on my legs or back. LOL She's freezing and needs some warmth.0

I too am always cold ...... it was in the 60's today and I turned on the heater and wrapped myself in a blanket while wearing sweats and a sweatshirt0

I have been much more susceptible to cold when eating keto, but I have also lost some of my insulating fat. I crank the heat up at work and my hands and feet still get cold. Last night I was too cold to sleep through the night.0

I never used to feel the cold much, now I'm cold all the time, I had to take a cardi to work as the air conditioning was making me shiver constantly. I've lost 30kg still 18kg overweight.0

I am colder, hmmm0

I still get cold as always, but I have warm times now--I'm not going to call them hot flashes for obvious reasons. I think it's related to the coconut oil.0

I personally am not as hot. I was ALWAYS hot before (living in Florida does not help.) Since I've shed some of my personal insulation, I'm not overwhelmingly hot, especially when I'm exercising.0

I get cold when my water intake is increased... which makes sense. Perhaps with keto, and the need to urinate more often, the effects of drinking lots of water don't have as much impact temperature wise... I've been hot the last few days, although our thermostat is wonky too...0
