Hi! It's me, back from my bad day yesterday.
Thank you. Of course, y'all are right. I was just having an emotional rollercoaster day yesterday--highs and lows--with news from my family (low: my mom isn't doing too well, she has dementia & downhill fast; high: my sis might come visit in the Spring!; high & low: my lil girl got her first ever haircut...she's so grown up, but her baby curls are now sitting in a box on a shelf ).
Anyway, through it all, my legs are only 50% as bad as they were yesterday, but also I had a moment of clarity, that went something like this: "This is stupid. I should just join the gym."
LOL. It's true. I think this leg thing had to come back for me to see clearly. The gym has machines that 99% are seated (all but hip extension & hip flexor on the multi-hip). So, I can do everything sitting down without irritating my calves. I don't know what I've been waiting for. Sure, I'd rather get into free weights...but I've been injured and it's not going away quick enough...I need to keep moving forward. Anyway, will probably carve out a day next week to go pay & sign up. Hope I can talk them into giving me a deal.
Today the usual, including tutor. Over 12,300 steps (including carrying lil girl for a bit), and drew up my butt and abs in an effort to maintain my calf and it worked *most* of the time. But when it didn't work: ouch!

I am too, we finally left the house between rain drops and went for short walk on trail. Felt good to get out. Not feeling tired after so i guess i am better! Lol
I am making big pot of soup today.
