I just saw this group and thought this is the motivation I need to start running, so once the weekend is over I will be putting my running shoes on and off for my first run

Haha I'm not normally a "I'll start on Monday/tomorrow/sometime" kinda person but it fits with when I have free time so I thought if I make a thread on here I am comitted even though I can't start just yet0 -

I'm not much of a racer Aine but about the time I have completed this will be the start of netball session
I have done runs 2 and 3 now, but I have a massive blister so it's hurting, hopefully it will heal quickly!!0 -
Ekk just thought I better update on here, I kind of abandoned the interval running as my bf decided to join me running but found the stop/start too hard on his knee... well I have managed to get up to 20 minutes straight running and that's about 3 km worth, won't be long to 5 km

Finished w4d1 today...weather was nice.
I am struggling with my calves as I increase run times. I wore tall heels for too many years and they shortened up. Any recommendations?0 -
are you stretching between your warm up and run? if not, try that perhaps0
