    Just a reminder for me today...sometimes I feel like the past two months has set me back a lot. But this reminds me of how far I really have come!

    Laura - that was a beautiful view!

    Marla - yeah, it is kind of busy. I'm trying to work out things so that stuff starts to slow down. A big help has been actively getting my kids to become more independent. Get themselves ready, make their own lunches for school, etc. Having them do more around the house for themselves makes life easier for me. Had to crack down on them because the past couple of days, they were not doing anything unless I was standing over them. I don't have time for that, so we had to have some things taken away, and such like that. Last night though, they finally got it and picked up the house by themselves while I made dinner. Those small things make such a huge difference!

    Sherry - So glad that you are figuring out what is causing all the issues with you leg! Praying you continue to recover!

    Yesterday was successful! Made it to piano on time, and got all my workouts in! It felt good to swim again for the first time in months! Today I have a bike ride at the end of the day, but that's about it. I'll be at church most of the day getting stuff ready for Sunday and getting a. jump start on other projects. It also feels good to be getting ahead on things instead of just desperately trying to keep up. Only two days until I leave for my conference! I'm so excited to have that nice long drive alone, and the hotel room all to myself and actually get some good introverted time in! :)

    Val sounds like your organization and planning is working! Great job on the kids helping out, discipline is not easy.

    Wow it cut off over half of what i said! Ugh

    I said i did long walk yesterday, then later went on great bench overlooking ocean. Did housework.

    Today is work in back yard project day.

    Also day one of posting food i did the same ate good until afternoon snack and cookies after dinner, went way over. So far not helping. Day two not giving up!
