Hi all,
I'm very new to MFP, 54 yr.s old and plan to lose at least 25 lb.s. In the process I will be working with my husband on a much more ambitious goal of his own. My plan will include making many lifestyle changes to our usual eating style to include more fresh foods and leave out the processed boxed foods that have gotten us where we are today. In addition to that I'll be exploring gluten-free alternatives, reducing/eliminating bad carbs and increasing good carbs. In the past year I started running instead of walking and continue to struggle with the fact that I am not a natural runner. As walker, I have completed 3 half-Marathons and one Full-Marathon. In addition to improving my running efficiency I plan to include strength training, biking, swimming, and walking our two new pups. Tall order? Yep. So is being healthy at this time in my life. And so important.
