So I'm in some pretty bad storms right now. When I was little, my dad used to get us potato chips and we would huddle, my sisters and I, underneath the kitchen table eating potato chips to ride out bad weather.
So that's what I want now.
Yikes!
Anybody else have food memories that create cravings during the bad times?

Yes, my first taste of high quality praline chocolate when I was around 4 years old or so. It was one of the moments of discovery. That's the first time I fell in love with chocolate...0

My mum had bought it in a supermarket abroad.0

That's the way it goes. Understanding the emotional attachment to food has been really important for me...0

Especially recently as I have gone through some of the darker moments in my life.0

Thats really interesting. i have noticed that some of the foods I ate as a child are super more comforting than other things that have similar ingredients and macro etc. Its obviously the association, not the nutrients, or lack of nutrients that is making the difference. Its an emotional thing for sure.0
