    Needed to hear this one this week! I think I've definitely been focusing on giving up stuff. Sugar, snacks, etc. Not really doing a good job on focusing on my goals instead. Hubby held me accountable last night when I wanted to snack and while part of my was annoyed, most of me was relieved to have some help with my choices.
    Yesterday went well. Did not get in my bike ride because it would have been in the late evening, and hubby got a call offering him overtime today. Normally, I would get my endurance bike in and he would get up the next morning with the kids. We're going to do that tonight and tomorrow instead.
    Pulling some weeds and shopping this morning (our yard is overrun!) and then this afternoon working on getting documents ready for our taxes. Everyone is coming over tonight for bible study...I'm making ham and cheese sliders.

    I've been really strict with the kids the past few days about their chores and finally the whining is lessening and they are staying on task again. I need them to be doing their chores on their own so I can use that time to do other things. Glad that it's starting to work.

    HI! I think I missed yesterday and not even sure why. Can't remember much about yesterday, except shopping, cleaning out the top of my sons closet and all of my daughters purses, math homework, and dishes and more dishes.

    Today was errands, going with the kindergarten on a museum trip, then regular afternoon stuff including taking lil girl to the park, and then cooking (still s much in the fridge needing t be cooked). I did join the gym this a.m. They'll have my updated i.d. ready in a couple days.

    I keep meaning to get my calories down a lot more than they've been, but I'm failing. Just poor judgement re: how tired I'll be when cooking (usu too tired to make my own, so I eat the kids food like pasta or worst yet I eat convenience food). As soon as I finish the things I have in the fridge yet to cook, I'm going to switch to simple meals like chicken and broccoli. I realized that the kids like that just as well as the starchy stuff I've been making for them. It'll be easier to cook only once for all of us.

    Legs not bad today, just slightly achy probably frm all the errands today (about 18k steps today).

    My weight was down today and i was surprised, only doing a bit better.

    Spent morning on campus resigistering to vote, love being around energy.

    I hurt back of my right foot bad in costco yesterday. I had some heavy bags of cat sand 84 lbs total in cart and i was following guy showing me something and pulling cart from back, it ran over back of foot with weight. Got a cut and hurt quite a bit, was limping yesterday, sore today.

    So, no problem standing at college thing but cant put on walking shoes yet so taking a few days off. Kind of dissapointed since its nice weather this week.

    Girl i do college thing with always brings goodies and i didnt have any today, and table next to us brought a bunch of cookies and brownies to give out and i turned that down. I look at every little thing like that as a big win!
