Help! Wha to do with eating back exercise burned.

Hello,

About three years ago when I started to lose weight I was on the low cal diet. About a year ago I realised I needed to eat more.

Now though, I feel like I'm eating a good amount. My Total Calorie intake average over the week is 1,700 - 1,800 calories a day. I run three times a week and walk for an hour 5 days a week. Then do a bit of strength two days a week.

I do an average of 18,000 steps a day.

I link my fit bit with myfitnesspal and with the cals fitbit says I burn, it says my NET Average (you know on the nutrition bit?) is 1,250 average per day.

I'm just wanted to know how I work out how much I need to eat back, especially with the calories fitbit says I burn?

I'm confused but wanting to be healthy and not mess my metabolism up :(

check @heybales profile for a link to his spreadsheet, you're not eating enough for your activity level but his spreadsheet will give you an idea of what's realistically your TDEE and you can adjust from there. The other option is to maintain your activity level and start adding 100 calories/day each week until you start seeing weeks of gaining.

Read through all of the stickies at the top of this groups page and you'll get tons of info there.
    Good luck!

I tell MFP that I want to lose 1 pound a week and I let fitbit do it's "thing" because I tie it to MFP. I eat back all my calories, or close to it.
