Hi I'm knew here , I've been following the ketogentic diet for about a month now , suddenly I have zero hunger this week I've had my bullet proof coffee in the am , and then maybe a salad & some chicken in the evening , has this happened to anyone ? Will this ruin keto adaptation?

Congrats on finding us, and congrats on the reduced appetite!

That's how the diet works. :)

Hunger will increase a bit with time, but it's a good sign -- hunger hormones are normalized and sensitivity is improved.

Are you seeking "keto-adaptation" for athletic performance or something else? Either way, eating less = more ketones. No difference for any adaptations.

Welcome to the Keto zone! Where we aren't hangry and often eat only 1 or 2 meals a day.
There will be days you're hungrier too. Just follow the hunger signals and it's all good

Welcome!!This is one of the most awesome benefits of this woe! It's really strange at first, but quickly becomes a new normal!! You will still have hungrier days, but there won't be days like there was when you were higher carbs!!

Thanks , when you make the switch it's always confusing after being told for years from trainers ect, that I need 6 meals or skipping breakfast will make me fat, sorta got slightly worried that my progress would come undone , very glad to hear it's normal

The fact that I am not constantly hungry is amazing to me. I eat 1 or 2 big meals a day(500-600 Cals), and maybe a snack here or there.
It is quite liberating not to be ruled by my out of control hunger/cravings. I feel free!!!

I would love to feel the same , unfortunately I have never been hungry much , and was always running on a calorie deficit, coffee in am , then running around all day then dinner with kids around 5 then would snack on carbs all night , this caused my body tho hold on to everything from what I understand , so now I'm scared that I'm back in that cycle just with high fat foods ☹

I've always been a night time snacker too and am happy to say that the cycle has finally been broken. Like others have mentioned, while most days, hunger is kept at bay with this woe, there are occasionally days that you may feel a bit hungry or have cravings. Just try to keep things LCHF. Track your snacks with MFP and that should help you keep things under control.
